CARONLEA ROUGH COLLIES

My story is a short one. I was reared on a farm so I have been involved with animals all my life. My first breed was the Border Collie. I had owned two over the years; a breed that I dearly love . My second breed was the lovely Shetland Sheepdog. This was the breed that got me hooked in the show ring. I was involved in this lovely breed both showing and breeding for 15 years and I still know the Sheltie friends that I made all thoes years ago. I am still a member of the S.S.C.N.I and I am hoping to add this breed to my kennel again in the near future.

As you can see my dogs are healthy and happy with excellent temperaments. They are as well as show dogs a part of my family. We are a small kennel and the dogs live in a home enviroment.

A few years ago I got married and we have two beautiful children Shauna 7 and Caitlin 6. These two girls play a big part in socalising my puppies.   My next breed was to be the Rough Collie. A breed that I have admired for many years. I have made some wonderful friends along the way.  I am very very proud to have campaigned the FIRST Lynmead Rough Collie to his title in Ireland.

Also, I must mention my aunt and uncle who are my strength during the ups and downs encountered in the dog world. I am delighted to be part of their world- famous Keenaughts chihuahuas   I have been happy to campaign Emma  my Long Coat Chihuahua to her champion title and 3 C.A.C.I.B'S, and sinead to her champion and international title.....

In my spare time I play bowls and I am very proud to have represented Ireland at international level 16 times. I also play at Zone and County level. I was the first female player in 30 years to win the section A ( HIGHEST LEAGUE) skips cup.
