Bespoke Handmade Lampshades
Welcome to Caroline B Designs. I specialise in making bespoke lampshades, enabling you to create a custom made shade which is the colour, shape and design you desire. I am based in SW London, so am ideally placed for serving the London interior design profession and offer a personal, reliable and high quality service.
I make both hard lampshades (where the fabric is laminated onto lampshade card) and soft shades (stretched, gathered or pleated over the frame) to your specification - soft shades are made using traditional lampshade-making methods and are all hand stitched.
A range of shapes and sizes are offered and shades can be made in either your own fabric or mine. If you are looking to colour match, I offer a large selection of silks to choose from. Cream parchment is also available.
I also re-cover existing frames - perhaps an unusual frame or an heirloom that needs a new lease of life.
