Here is a list of our tentative tournaments for the 2007 wiffleball year.
Many of the crusaders are taking part in vacations over the summer. Its likely there will be 2/3 summer tournaments, one pre summer, and one post summer.
Camp Kesem Wiffle Ball Tournament 4/14 Evanston, IL
Bio: The They Built It... I went tournament has been taken away due to it playing 2 on 2. We didnt want to do that. So, Evanston Illinois has one with the exact same rules as tbiiw tournament, however its 3 on 3. Played on the Northwestern campus, this tournament looks to get us ready for the summer season. This could likely be where the Crusaders knock down the barrier west.
Goal: A top Half finish.
Wiffle 4 Austism V 6/2 Noblesville, IN
Bio: The tournament that made the Crusaders. Once just a backyard league, once contacted about this tournament, the Crusaders were born. This is still the favorite of the team, and the Crusaders look for a comeback year after nearly upsetting the 2 seed Prodigies 4-3 being a 15 seed. A gracious host, and wiffleing for a great cause. Usually yields 25 or so teams from many states. The entry fee is $100, but its for a great cause.
Goal: A top 8 finish
ILLINOIS WIFFLEFEST
Bio: A very interesting looking tournament also in IL. There is a fast pitch division, and a recreational division. The rec division will be what the Crusaders play in if they go, as its medium pitch, and you run the bases, where the fast pitch there is just singles doubles and triples lines. A 100 dollar entry fee where 1st and 2nd get money, and first gets a trophy.
Goal: A top 1/4 finish.
London Wiffle Ball Tournament July London, OH
Bio: A must go for any wiffle team. The Crusaders missed it last year, but wont this year. A two day tournament which features around 70 teams. However, this is an under hand tournament, and is likely the only one the Crusaders will attend. Filled with a ton of talent, and great wiffle ball players all over many states. The Crusaders attended a mini-london tournament there last year with 10 teams. They finished 6th, and are looking for another decent performance.
Goal: Gain skills and knowledge, and stay competitive.
Evansville Tournament October Evansville, IN
Bio: A football game prevented the Crusaders from being there last year, but this year Evansville looks good to go. A fast pitch tournament just a couple hours south of us. A nice owner, and a nice tournament, we'll want to attend. After a league and 4 tournaments, this will likely be where the Crusaders try to put it all together.
Goal: A top 4 Finish
