Brad Kicked Off
Brad Vandiver has been kicked off the Carmel Crusaders squad after joining a bad baseball team.  His life goal is to make that team, and if we've ever learned one thing, its not to get in the way of his life goals.  Another one of his life goals is to make the major leagues.  He should do that once his ERA in Dads club dosent get 35 in A game.  The team goes now to three.  Pat, Nolan, Ollie

After a month and 5 days off, Ollie Benz has decided to rejoin the team, and practice on off days for baseball.  The team really needs Benz, as Vandiver is a worse fielder than Bill Buckner.  Benz has agreed to sign with the crusaders.  Ollie however, will not be able to make it to Wiffle Jamboree.  Vandiver will be practicing countless hours to make his fielding "reasonable".

"I'm A Crusader for life".  Who would have thought these words would be so short lived?  In a tough effort for the Crusaders, leadoff hitter Ollie Benz has been cut from the team.  "Ollie was not going to be able to give commitment to the team.  He has baseball.  He told us he'd be here forever, and he just kinda ditched us," said 4th hitter Brad Vandiver.  Benz is dropping wiffleball to concentrate on baseball.  "My Goal is to make varsity," he said.  "My question would be why is he making this decision now.  His goal has never changed, but he has.  He's a different person since wifflin' season.  Wiffleball was his life from June to October, somewhere along the November to February line, that changed," said Vandiver. The Crusaders will be looking elsewhere to fill his spot.  The short list for his replacement would like be(in order): Will Stone, Brian Bondus, Danny Wood.  "Its an unfortunate situation. We always talked about playing all thru our high school years.  Somewhere, he got too cool."
