
I was born in Mexico City, and grew up in Mexicali, Baja California.
I did my B.A. in psychology with minors in music education and Spanish literature at La Sierra University in Riverside, California, after which I did my M.A. in social psychology at Arizona State University.
Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in educational psychology with a concentration in school psychology. My research and professional interests focus on the relation between cultural factors and psychoeducational and health outcomes.
