The Coven:

The Carlford Coven are a group of pagans living in and around the Ipswich area in Suffolk who choose to share their worship of the Goddess and God with each other. We join together on Sabbats and Esbats to celebrate the turning of the wheel and to learn about the ways of the Goddess and God and the magic and understanding that comes with this knowledge.

We are an eclectic group who broadly speaking follow the ways of our Celtic ancestors, but we also borrow from other branches of the pagan belief systems if they fit or feel 'right' for the ritual we are holding.

The People

Traditional Witch

Within the Coven we have an assortment of talents ranging from poets, musicians, artist, prop makers, historians and researchers plus those who have an understanding of computer technology to some small degree; having said that we are all willing to learn from each other.

When, Where and What we do?

We meet at our Covenstead for 'almost' every Sabbat (some are held by the foreshore) and for all Esbats. We also support events held by other groups when invited.

Under the auspices of the Coven two moots are held; one at Trimley and one at Kirton.

We also produce a free quarterly News Letter. And we support a Chant group and moot at the Brewery Tap in Ipswich.
