This year there will be a winter carnival, a raffle, silent Auction, and an opportunities for kids & families to meet and cuddle with some pretty famous movie stars - the DOGS - of course - who were featured in Kevin of the North, Snow Dogs & Eight Below, and a few other productions!

The course is second to none, The atmosphere is friendly, the event lots of family fun. Make plans to join us and be a part of the second oldest race in BC's history.

Why not follow the Cariboo's dogsled circuit - and join us for the Cariboo Challenge/Gawthorn and then the following week head up to Quesnel, BC to be a part of the historic Gold Rush Mail Run! Mushers are sworn in as official Canada post carriers for the event and carry authentic envelopes that are stamped "carried by dogsled" as they travel along the historic gold rush trail from Quesnel to Barkerville.
