Ella and Henry

The Pirate Chronicles, Book One

Carey-Jane Riley's Homepage!

Hello Everyone!  Welcome to the website dedicated to my new book, Ella and Henry!  I am so glad that you are here.  Being a new author, I need all the publicity I can get!  And as always, I appreciate and love each and every one of you!

If you haven't read my book or don't know what it's about, scroll down to the bottom to read the back cover or visit the Synopsis page.  I have included a brief description of it.  Of course, this is no substitute for actually reading the book!  On the Drawings page you can see some of the sketches I have done of my characters.  Hope you enjoy!

Leave a message for me on my message board.  It just makes my day to realize that someone has been thinking about my book!  Also if you are an author and want to add a link to your page, just let me know and I will be more than happy to do so.  The more the merrier!

Also, on the Coming Soon page, you can read about my books that are currently works-in-progress.  As some of you may know, Ella and Henry is only the first book in the quartet entitled The Pirate Chronicles.  I hope that someday all four of them can be found on the shelves of your favorite bookstore!

Thank you so much for visiting my website, and Happy Reading!

love, Carey-Jane

(Back cover):

Ella, a tomboyish nobleman’s daughter in medieval times, has never truly belonged anywhere. When her ship is captured by pirates en route to London, she befriends Tom and is given a choice: perish or be transformed into a pirate. Upon choosing the latter, Ella enters into this exciting and sometimes dangerous life, filled with adventure beyond her wildest dreams. In a chance encounter, she rescues the handsome Prince Henry from almost certain death, and the two formulate a plan to return home to England. It tests the very limits of their strength and courage, sending them on a journey filled with swordfights, escape from dungeons, and betrayal by so-called friends. But when their goal is finally obtained, Ella is given yet another decision: is she Eleanor, Daughter of Sir Patrick, or Ella, the pirate?
