Carrie--the original sequel.  Darker and more intense than the first book, this sequel picks up where the original left off.  Ella and Henry, now teenagers, are forced to return home to lives that were not meant for them.  After they run away to join Tom again and continue their life on the sea, a series of trials and misadventures tests their faith in one another and in themselves.  Ella becomes pregnant, Henry almost dies of malaria, and Hanks returns to the pictures, threatening the lives of all three friends.

The Pirate Tom--this is the third installment of the pirate chronicles quartet.  Tom, on his deathbed, is recounting his past to Ella and Henry.  We learn his perspective on everything that happened to them, plus we find out about Tom's life before Ella came into the picture.  We learn of his late wife, Madeline, and how her death changed Tom's outlook on life forever.

Carrie and Chad--the fourth and last (so far) of the pirate chronicles, Carrie and Chad takes place nearly a decade after the third book.  Tom is dead, Henry has been King for fourteen years and Caroline is a stubborn teenager who dreams about living a life like her parents had.  When Carrie falls in love with the son of Hanks, her parents' mortal enemy, she must decide if she will go through with an arranged marriage to save her father from war, or marry the man she knows she loves, despite the danger and trouble it will bring both her and her family.
