Care Hares Sales Policy

1. At the time of pickup, you are responsible for looking over the rabbit for any disqualifications that I may have missed. I am not perfect and I may miss a disqualification. So only you are responsible for finding them. At the time of the sale, you know everything that I do about that rabbit. I am not one to try and hide anything about any rabbit. I am open and willing to telling you any fault that I am aware that a particular rabbit may have.
2. Once the rabbit leaves here, and you do find a disqualification, a refund will not be given.
3. Due to major development changes, a rabbit that I sell under 12 weeks cannot be guaranteed show quality. I will tell you what I think that rabbit’s potential is right then. I cannot look into the future and see how he/she will turn out for sure.
4. Show quality means that the rabbit has no disqualifications that I am aware of at the time of sale. I cannot guarantee how well the rabbit will place on the show table.
5. If a rabbit dies during the first week of leaving here, put it in the freezer immediately and email me that day. I require that the body be shipped back to me at your own expense. If I determine that the cause of death was because of something that happened here, I will refund your money or give you another rabbit in return. If I determine that the cause of death was because of unclean conditions, overstressing the rabbit, lack of general care, etc. on your part, then I will not refund any money or do any exchange. If you disagree with my decision, then I can ship the rabbit back to you at your own expense and you can have a vet look at it, again, at your own expense. I will only refund or do an exchange if I have a written and signed document from the vet stating the cause of death. In all cases, I will decide if you get a refund or another rabbit.
6. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be made on the rabbit if I am holding it for you. You may not transfer the deposit to any other rabbit. The deposit stays on the rabbit that you put it on and guarantees you receiving that rabbit. If you decided not to get the rabbit, I will not refund the money under any circumstances.
8. All rabbits must be paid in full before I let you have them. If you put the 50% deposit on the rabbit, then when you pick it up you must pay the other 50% before taking the rabbit with you.
9. If you do not show up for the scheduled pick up time, the money that you put on the rabbit is forfeited and it goes back for sale. No exceptions.
10. If I give away a rabbit to you for free and you decide not to keep it any longer, I have first choice to get it back from you, free of charge.
