(a) ‘For your own safety’
If you have a history of mental illness / suicidal ideation or if you are currently experiencing any symptoms of mental imbalance, including chronic stress, depression distress and or anxiety, it is recommended ‘for your own safety’ that you have already established professional assistance from a suitably qualified practitioner in your local area. This type of professional assistance would be necessary prior to or instead of any contact with this service.
(b) ‘Risk factors’
It is important that you are aware that any decisions and actions you may take as a consequence of a counselling session are entirely yours and you will take all responsibility for the risks associated with those decisions.
(c) "Laws of New Zealand"
All counselling which Pam Millington (the Counsellor) may give, is given on condition that any contractual or other legal rights and or obligations created between the Counsellor and you (the client) shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand.
(d) ‘Liability’
The counsellor Pam Millington does not accept any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage, and or injury whatsoever suffered, nor for any action or inaction by you, consequent upon any said counselling.
e) ‘No action at law’
By submitting yourself for any evaluation, you acknowledge your own risk factor and understand and agree that you are prohibited from bringing any action at law or otherwise, against C.A.R.E. Counselling or Pam Millington, for counselling as herein provided.
