How You Can Prepare for an Emergency
During an Emergency Incident, Ham radio operators help by providing communication when all other types of communication are down, including Land Telephones, Cell Phones, and The Internet. In proper preperation you can read this article about ethics and operating procedures for Amateur Radio.
