Night

Flashing lights and speeding cars
The crisp night air piercing threw your heart
The feeling of wind running threw your hair
Enjoying the night without a care

Walking down a winding road
Choosing a path. Not knowing where it goes
Spending your last night without a care
Leaving the memories in the air

Memories

Waves silently lapping against the shore
A breeze swaying through the air
The smell of the ocean lingering
The orange sky with a tint of pink completing the picture
The end of summer draws closer
All that will be left is memories
Memories of the morning dew on the ground as we walked
The crisp air hitting our skin will soon be near
The sea shells that were collected
Will hold our memories until next year
