Charming stone built cottage set in the conservation area of the popular North Yorkshire village of Great Ayton.  The one bedroomed cottage has been furnished to a high standard and offers cosy contemporary accomodation ideal for holidays and short breaks.  Situated opposite the site of Captain Cooks cottage. 

The village of Great Ayton is set within the North Yorkshire National Park on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and famous for its association with Captain Cook.  The village is 4 miles from the Cleveland Way and therefore ideally situated for walkers.  There are 3 pubs within 5 minutes walking distance, also 2 excellent restaurants one with 2 AA rosettes.  A good selection of shops within the village should you wish to self cater.  There is also the Esk walley Railway line stop in Great Ayton offering the opportunity to travel along one of the most scenic routes in England to Whitby on the coast
