                    York City

The Minstermen were formed in 1922, joining the Football League seven years later. Their greatest cup run came in 1955 when their fans were able to dream of Wembley before a semi final defeat. In the League the side briefly enjoyed second tier status in the mid '70s but have been more used to life in the Football League's basement divisions before dropping out of the league into the fifth tier in 2004.
