A native of Judique, Cape Breton, Diane MacInnis has been painting for more than thirty years.  Her closeness to the sea and her love of nature have a great influence over her work which includes ocean scenes, landscapes and house portraits.  Diane's paintings have been exhibited in shows around the island as well as in local galleries and shops.  Though much of her work adorns the walls of fellow Cape Bretoners, visitors “from away” often leave with one of her paintings as a memento of the beautiful landscape of the island she calls home.
