Jessica Paige and Glenn Cannon are both artists who have many national and international accolades for their musicianship and artistry. They perform beautiful jazz standards, played superbly and sung divinely.
VCA graduate Glenn, is a master guitarist and a seasoned international performer. Jessica has a swag full of national and international awards for her songwriting and performance skills including an APRA award and a JB (John Butler) Seed award.
Their duo was conceived after Glenn happened upon Jessica Paige playing at a cosy bar in Bourke Street and, having a keen radar for top-notch musicians, she invited him up to jam with her. They made such beautiful music together and realized they had something rare and special and so their jazz guitar duo was born.
Glenn has played all over
Minogue, Kate Ceberano, Ross Wilson, Rhonda Burchmore and Wilbur Wilde. He also was a National Jazz Awards finalist and has played at many prestigious festivals, including The Melbourne International Jazz
Festival, The Electric Jazz Festival and the Wangaratta Jazz Festival. He has conducted improvisation
workshops in Asia and recently returned from
Jessica is also a festival performer, and has been on the bill for the St Kilda Festival in 2007 and 2008, The Ranges Festival, The Sustainable Living Festival, The International Guitar Festival, Corinbank Festival (ACT), Banyule Festival, Darebin Festival and many more. Jessica has won many awards for her own songwriting skills and has travelled interstate to perform at many top notch venues, solo and with her band. This year theyhave performed for events at The Cellars in Melbourne (Creative Holidays), 2 Jurlique Product Launches, a wedding at St Kilda Sea Baths, showcasing performance at Sippers Wine Bar in Carlton with performances coming up at The Windsor Ballroom for Garuda Airlines and the Caulfield Summer Series.
