Canine eXchange |  Breeds
Dogs vary more in appearances than anatomical structure. Each breed comes with its own special lifestyle. Moreover before choosing a canine, you should be aware of the different kinds of dogs that will best suit your own lifestyle. List down all the factors that you might feel should be avoided and the other list the ones you like. Purebred dogs or mixed breeds does not really matter in the eyes of a true dog-lover. However, it is easier to predict the adult physical traits and characteristics of a purebred puppy. Read, read and read! Start this research by going through the Philippine Canine Club, Inc. official accepted list provided below. Breed of the Month
American Cocker Spaniel
Considered to be one of the smallest dogs in the sporting group, the American Cocker Spaniel is no means less agile than the bigger dogs found on this group. Hurled as hunting woodcock, the Cocker spaniels derived its name and history from this early function. They are divided on the basis of color into three variations: black, any solid color other than black, and parti-color.

The American version was developed into a specific type in the US by fanciers as to distinct themselves from the larger English Cocker Spaniels.
