Getting Started

Once you've decided to start your own home business, it's time to think of getting your own website.

Most of the banners and blinkies on this site come from Heartland graphics.org. They have a huge amount of different web pages, banners and buttons for your site. They're priced very reasonably and you can change the look of your site at any time.

Why not take a look? Just click the banner above!

Getting Noticed!

After you get your website up and running you will want to let every one know about it. I love magnets, I have one for the pizza delivery, one for pet grooming and more. You don't have to go rooting thruogh your purse or wallet, because they stay neatly there until you need them.

One of the best places to get supplies of buttons and magnets is at Buttons make Cents. The banner is above and it's the first thing I would do after my website.

I'll go through some other ideas about how to get traffic to your site.

Don't any one tell you that there is no work in a home business. There is just as much as when you were in the market place, the only difference is that you work at home.

Traffic Exchanges

Another good way to promote your new website is to place your site on a traffic exchange. The sites listed below are all free to join. Make sure to place your banners for rotation. Also make sure your homepage is listed. Your page will show up to other members while they surf. You in turn view other members sites.

If you are like me, I always forget to send a greeting card until it's too late. At Cards Remembered you pick out your card, insert your own greeting or pick from some of thiers. The price is just over three dollars and mailing and postage is included.

If you have a website and would like to sell these cards on your site just click the banner above.

The cost is just about the same as the stores, but the convienience is so great. I never forget to send a card any more.
