a little information about palm wax
It may come as bit of a surprise to some of you that there is another natural wax in the world besides soy wax. It is Palm Wax. Soy wax candle producers have been singing their own praises for years now regarding them against the paraffin candle industry and because of that other natural waxes have gone to the back of the line.
They proclaim that their candles don't produce any toxins, or soot, or any other harmful emissions because they use soy wax. The wax is only one part of candle production. And just because someone makes a candle from soy wax and says that it is environmentally friendly and does not cause reactions in people with asthma or other respiratory and allergy related conditions is a bunch of hooey. First of all a candle only needs to be 25% soy wax to be considered a soy wax candle. Secondly a candle maker can only try to reduce reactions by using high-grade fragrances or essential oils. People will still have reactions. In fact people can have allergic reactions to just about anything. It doesn't matter whether or not it is essential oils or the very best fragrances on the market. However high-grade fragrance and essential oils stand a better change because they don't have the additives that the cheaper fragrances do which can cause reactions. Allergic reactions have to do with each person's own body chemistry. Most people don't' know that. Just like most people would be led astray by inflated testimonies regarding soy wax candles.
The interesting thing about palm wax candles is the fact that palm wax is a self-sustaining wax. Which means it needs nothing added to it to make a great candle. It comes out of the mold without mold release or additives. It creates a pattern without additives. It doesn't need an additive to not create a pattern and it doesn't need anything added to it to make it harder.
star sugar cone candle
this candle is 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide at the bottom. it has starts that prodrude from the candle. i can put cinnamon in the mold for a very prim grubby look. they will come this way unless you tell me different
mason jar and crackling wick candles
these are made in a 16 oz mason jar. the crackling wick candles have a wooden wick that crackles while burning.the mason jar candle comes with a regular zinc (lead free) wick, (no picture)
these candles come with a muslin or homespun bow, depending on what i have on hand

THESE ARE SCENTED IN CANDY CORN AND HAVE CANDY CORN WAX EMBEDS ON TOP. THEY COME IN A CELLO BAG TIED WITH HOMESPUN A SCENT LABEL AND A GRUBBY HANGTAG (MAY VARY)
