All of our bunnies are loved and well socialized - making them excellent family companions. We love each one! We enjoy watching them grow up from newborns. They are so cute and sweet in every way. I can't imagine raising any other rabbit.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats ...
You name them, I enjoy them all!
Currently I raise Angora Rabbits, I have 2 sweet as can be dogs, 1 kitty cat and I hope to have Holland Lops by the end of the Summer and this Fall goats. Hobby Farms are so fun!
I was raised on a small hobby farm as a child and talk about fun! We bottle fed cows and goats and most often they were so social that we could put them on leads and walk them around the farm. To see a cow going down the street on a leash was not uncommon.
My parents raised rabbits and I of course had my own! We had litters of cats and dogs and most of them wandered the farm freely. Wonderful memories!
Now that my family and I are living in the country again, I am able to raise Rabbits once again. This time I get to share the joy of them with my husband and 2 children.
I'm addicted and my rabbitry continues to expand!
Our bunnies LOVE being held and look forward to us spending daily time with them.
I am very hands on and each of my adults and bunnies get personal attention daily. Yes, daily. I can tell you that my rabbits do not sit in cages and wait for love .. they receive it all the time. They are social, eager to be held and not afraid of the human touch. They are our pets .... members of our family.
I'm a photographer and love taking photos of my Angoras! They are such little posers!
My sweet husband posted this comment on my blog. I was so touched by his kindness and I wanted to share it with everyone who considers adopting a bunny from me. Thank you Todd for being so supportive of my rabbit adventures! "I want to let everyone who is looking for the best possible rabbit - especially one to be a pet for your children, that your search is over! My wife is the most wonderful person in the world and the care and love each of these bunnies receives is extraordinary.....she is a genuine treasure. "
A Note on English Angora Wool Color
You can expect junior/baby English Angora body color to lighten as they mature into a senior/adult. This is normal and expected, but this process sometimes makes it hard to distinguish a rabbit's true color. The way to tell the real color of an adult/senior rabbit is to look at the face. The true color will be there.
