Leodens Shelties was established by Dorla Norris and Patty and Tammie Gabrielson in the mid 1980's. They produced some beautiful Champions starting with Ch Leodens Jack Daniels, Ch Banchory In Dress Blues, Ch Leodens Noted Signature,  Ch Leodens Champaigne Brunch, and Ch Leodens Scenic Bartender.  Tammie was recognized as a top Jr Handler and upcoming sheltie handler. 

Ronlee Shelties was established by Sharon, Cliff, and Gracia Persey at the same time.  They did some conformation showing but focused on Obedience, showmanship, and youth venues like 4-H.  Cliff put CD's on Lancia Pow's Flying Blue Boy CD, Lancia Trinkatina of Ronlee CD, Black Forest Classic Lace CD, and Cherden Renascence CD.

When we found ourselves sharing the same space we had a two fold problem.  We were working together with all dogs, but we still had two kennels represented.  We needed business cards and it was NOT feasable to carry around two cards.  Tammie came home and was playing on our home made agility obstacles in the front yard.  She quickly saw the value of giving her "show dogs" a break and said when they got bored with showing she would have to bring them back home to camp.  CAMPSHELTIE was born that day. 

We take great pride in our dogs.  Every pet can not be a "show dog" but every show dog can start out as a pet and socialization from day one is our specialty.  Welcome to our new website.
