Cachalot Scout Reservation

 Welcome to the brand new (unofficial) Camp Cachalot website! 

Cachalot Scout Resvervation is located on 880 acres of land in Myles Standish state forest of Plymouth, MA.  We are open year round and offer weekend camping to both in and out of council troops.  Our summer camp program, which is in it's sixty-third season, lasts for about 6 weeks.  With a staff of about 40, we are dedicated to providing a quality summer camp program for every boy scout that comes through our gates.  When you come to Camp Cachalot, you'll experience a friendly and helpful staff, an effective merit badge class with an average of about 10 scouts, food that you'll remember forever, friendships that last a lifetime, and an unforgettable sunset over our Five Mile Pond.  

Our camp is under the direction of Narragansett Council's District Executive and is National Camp School certified.  The Program Director, Program Commissioner, and all of our area directors are National Camp School certified as well.  With over 40 years of combined experience of our senior staff, Camp Cachalot is commited to serving our youth and ensures a quality experience that no other camp in New England offers.
