Hello, my name is Cathy Cameron and welcome to my website.
Hmmm, something about myself...
I, probably like yourself, started out just wanting a Rottweiler Puppy. They are so cute, adorable & affectionate not to mention good guardians.
So in 1993, I started the long journey of phoning breeders, asking when they were expecting another litter and how much it was going to cost me, you know, the important questions first!
After speaking to quite a few breeders, I came across this one lady who was only too happy to give me heaps of information. She asked me if I wanted a pet puppy or had I thought of showing. I hadn't even heard of showing ... a Rottie was a Rottie wasn't it? Well, after many conversations with this lady, we finally met. Of all the places to meet was the Ekka (Brisbane Royal Show). Some other of her friends showed me some of the differences between German, English & American Rotties. (Quite a bit to take in) Anyway, good friendships were formed with all of these very helpful people and we still enjoy that friendship todate.
In 1994, I bought my first Rottweiler. I named her "Itakhai Spirit of India" callname "India". She was the most beautiful Rottie in the world - so I thought, full of bounce, vigar, and expression.
Next came the dreaded "Show Ring". This was one of the scariest things I have ever had to do until I did it. My new found friends made it look sooo easy. They also tried to teach me. What a bumbling fool I must have looked! Anyway, "India" and I became a consistent team - teaching each other the ropes gradually. We had a lot of fun.
In 1997, I decided to mate India to a very handsome young male named "Aust. Ch. Kalrissan Rising Fury" callname "Kayden". He was so Regal, demour, and had done extremely well in the show ring. Over the years, I had met Kayden several times and always thought he had a real presence.
In August, 1997 "Camerrott Cosmo Cramer" callname "Cramer" was born - I wonder where that came from??? Anyway, Cramer shared his litter with 3 brothers and 7 sisters. 11 puppies in all. Not a bad feat.
Cramer shared the show ring with his sister "Camerrott Savanah Moon" callname "Savanah". It was very hard for the judges to decided on which puppy was going to win when they ran off each other. Savanah lives with Kaydens owner.
In February, 2001, "Kalrissan Kaviah Burma" was born. Dam: Camerrott Savanah Moon Sire: Aust. Ch. Kalrissan Amra.
Burma achieved her Australian Title in 2003.
I currently enjoy both Burma and Cramer running around in my backyard.
Unfortunately, India, & Kayden have since gone to Doggy Heaven.
If you wish to see photo's of Amra, Savanah or more of Kayden, please visit them through my links page later on.
