What is a Stroke?

Can it happen to infant's and children? YES

Our son Cameron suffered an in-utero stroke (stroke before birth) or a Childhood stroke (occurring after birth.)

A stroke is when there is  loss of brain function due to an interruption in the blood supply to all or part of the brain. Frequently called CVA or Cerebral Vascular Accident.

There are two types of strokes.

1.Ischemic Strokes: Caused by an obstruction within a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain.

2. Hemorrhagic strokes:  Caused by a ruptured blood vessel in the brain.

Cameron's was most likely a Ischemic Stroke caused by a difficult delivery.

This site is a work in progress. I will add more info, pictures and video.

"Baby Mine"

Baby mine, don't you cry.

Baby mine, dry your eyes.

Rest your head close to my heart,

never to part,

baby of mine.

Little one when you play,

don't you mind what they say.

Let those eyes sparkle and shine,

never a tear,

baby of mine.

From your head down to your toes,

You're so little, goodness knows.

But you're so precious to me,

sweet as can be,

baby of mine.
