A mild start to the winter and a relatively mild Christmas led to a cold frosty New Year and sub-zero temperatures for early January.  We had a few clear nights and clear days where it remained frosty yet after having a spell of freezing fog which turned all the trees white, all I hoped for was a cloudless blue sky...alas it did not happen so the frozen tree pictures are without contrast....enjoy the pics anyway...
