Whitby has always been a "coming home" type of place for me. If I believed in reincarnation then the feeling I have when I go there would make sense; maybe I use to live there before........?  This time we went on the Monday of Regatta weekend so it was very busy, packed with market stalls, fairground rides and too many people! However the weather was extremely kind to us and the sun shone in a blue cloudless sky for a few hours giving excellent conditions for taking photos...
