Welcome to my website. This is my side of the story and the Pugs have theirs.
I have been owned by my pugs since the age of six. I saw a black pug with that wonderfully wrinkled face and from that moment I lost my heart to them and I have never had any other breed. Twenty years ago my prefix was SHARLU and I started breeding and showing pugs, mainly with Jessica and Sage whom you see above - whom between them took out many awards and their progeny were exported overseas and of course some remained at Sharlu.
I have a small kennel and my pugs are bred and raised in 5 star accommodation and are definitely members of the family whether shown or not. I breed both black and fawn, puppies are often available or are on the way - to the right homes. My breeding line includes Gilgai and my prefix is now CAMEOLA. I am expecting to purchase an imported black female soon.
This website is a tribute to my pugs, past and present and to my dear friend Marie who assisted me in earlier years.
