Zac is also starring in the upcoming movies , Seventeen Again, Me and Orson Welles (currently in the film festival circuit), and an updated version of the film, Footloose. Kay Panabaker has completed a made for TV film called Happy Campers. She is in the process of filming The Disembodied and casted in the updated version of the film, Fame, which is currently in pre-production. Check out the links to learn more about her current projects.
Summerland is not avaliable on DVD, but you may check ebay.com for people selling their own self-made Summerland DVDs. Also, contact me (see contact me page) if you would like to know where to download Summerland episodes or visit the links page for a Summerland episode downloading website.
However, there is an independent company who is distributing Summerland on DVD that you may order at the following link: http://www.ultimatedvdshop.com/movie/drama/Summerland.html
Now, I have never ordered from this website before so I'm not sure if they are legit or trustworthy. It may be one of those scam websites. I did e-mail them about their redistribution of Summerland and this is the response I got:
"Our DVDs are copied made from episodes aired on television. All of our DVDs are region free and commercial free. They come with professionally made artwork, animated menus. The sets come with great artwork and look very nice as you see it on our site.''
As for them having the copyrights from The WB to redistribute the DVDs legally, they may not have as I didn't get a response from them about that. So, I say buy from them at your own risk and let me know if you get what you paid for as I would like to know if this website is reliable or not. If the DVDs were officially and legally redistributed from The WB production company, they would have been on amazon.com and in your local stores where you usually buy your DVDs.

Cameron Bale is played by the cute Zac Efron.
After guest starring in several episodes of "Summerland", 17-year-old Zac Efron joined the cast as girl-crazy Cameron Bale.
Born in San Luis Obispo, California, and raised close by in Arroyo Grande, Efron took his first step toward acting at the age of 11 when his parents took note of his singing ability. Singing lessons soon led to an appearance in the production of "Gypsy" which ran 90 performances, and he was hooked.
After appearing on stage in "Peter Pan," "Mame," "Little Shop of Horrors" and "The Music Man," guest parts quickly followed on television series, including "Firefly," "ER" and "The Guardian." Efron also starred in several pilots such as "The Big, Wide World of Carl Laemke" and "Triple Play." He also recently starred as an autistic child in the television movie "Miracle Run," alongside Mary-Louise Parker and Aidan Quinn.
A junior in high school, Efron's favorite sports include golf, skiing, rock climbing and snowboarding. He recently added surfing after spending days on the beach for "Summerland." He plays the piano at home, and is currently teaching himself to play the guitar. He's also currently fixing up two cars in his spare time, a Delorean and '65 Mustang convertible, both treasured hand-me-downs from his even-more-treasured grandfather.
Efron lives at home with his parents and his younger brother Dylan. They have two highly affectionate Australian Shepherds, Dreamer and Puppy, and a very independent Siamese cat named Simon.
Nikki Westerly is played by the beautiful Kay Panabaker.
Thirteen-year-old Kay Panabaker is already a veteran of stage, television, and film as well as a high school graduate. She made her television series-starring debut as Nikki, the middle child and the voice of reason in The WB's Summerland.
Born near Houston, Texas and raised in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Chicago, Panabaker got her start in community theater in Atlanta when she was 8 years old, then made her professional debut in a Chicago Shakespeare Theater production of The Herbal Bed at the age of 9. She won a lead in the film American Girls: Kit's World while in Chicago, and followed that with a one-week trip to Los Angeles to test the waters. During her week there, Kay landed the child lead in the film Dead Heat, starring Kiefer Sutherland and Anthony LaPaglia, and there was no turning back.
In addition to commercial acting, Panabaker has appeared in a number of recurring roles in television series, including The Brothers Garcia and The WB's Angel. She also appeared in The WB's 7th Heaven, as well as on The Division, Port Charles, Fillmore and ER. She was nominated for a 2003 Young Artist Award for her performance in ER. Panabaker can also be seen in a recurring role in the Disney Channel comedy series Phil of the Future.
Panabaker lives in Los Angeles with her parents and older sister Danielle, who recently worked with four Oscar-winning actors in the upcoming HBO film Empire Falls. The family has a Yorkshire terrier named Peanut. Kay is a 2003 high graduate who will begin her college career with the spring 2004 semester. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, skiing, bowling, rock climbing and dancing. She also loves to travel and has visited every state in the country with the exception of Alaska.
