3 YEAR OLD CLASS
For children who are 3 years old by December 1st
Tuesday-Thursday Program: 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Cost of Program (two sessions per week): $500.00 per year
Non-Cooperative Option $700.00 per year
Note: Maximum Class size is 12 children. One teacher and two parent helpers per session.
4 YEAR OLD CLASS
For children who are 4 years old by December 1st.
Monday-Wednesday-Friday Program: 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Cost of Program (three sessions per week): $600.00 per year
Non-Cooperative Option $900.00 per year
Note: Maximum class size is 16 children. One teacher and two parent helpers per session
What is a Cooperative Preschool?
We are a cooperative preschool, which means that tuition is discounted for those parents who are able to participate in the classroom. For parents who are unable to participate during the school day, we offer a limited number of non co-op openings. We strive to offer quality education for all of our students, with an affordable tuition. Our curriculum prepares our students for the high demands of kindergarten, and our faith encourages each child to discover a God who loves them.
We are a non-profit organization which employs one teacher and uses parent volunteers to help in the classroom. A non co-op parent would pay a higher tuition and not be required to help in the classroom. We do limit the number of non co-op openings in each class. Parents who choose the co-op option have plenty of input into choosing their work days.
Parents who choose our co-op option are required to participate in the classroom an average of 2 days per month. A simple background check is required before working in the classroom. A relative or babysitter with an approved background check is a permissible substitute for classroom work days. All preschool families are required to attend ONE classroom cleaning day per year. Parents are also needed to provide transportation for their own child on each field trip.
Calvary Kids is governed by a parent board. The foundation of a cooperative preschool is parent involvement. We encourage all parents to participate, yet also understand and respect the fact that some parents will be able to participate more than others.
