8/30/07-- Well another year down and we are still hanging in there, we here at Sunset Ranch had a pretty good 08 season I am very excited with our new group of racers we have a few good looking 4 year olds that I believe will pull in some pretty good paychecks for the upcoming 09 season: Explorer has been our biggest surprise we put him on the track and he always seems to pull in a paycheck, Ezcaray had a huge win for us right at the end of the season last year brining in our biggest paycheck to date. I am also very proud to say we have acquired a front runner in Rontton Ripper I saw this horse in last years auction but was outbid, after some negotiating we were able to bring him home for a future broodmare prospect. Naive was a great horse while we had him he kept our ranch afloat for a good while but we just decided to go a different way for the 09 season.
