Welcome to my corner of the World Wide Web. I created this space for the purpose of sharing the stories of my journey through this life. At least the spiritual ones. Included in this lil corner are what I believe, why I believe it, and what doesn't make sense to me about my past spiritual path.
I came "out of the broom closet" recently with a family member. She has had lots of questions! Answering those questions has really helped me to define what exactly I believe and put it into words. It can be a challenge, because she sees things through the "filter" of Christianity, and I don't use that filter at all in my thought processes. Some of her questions were difficult to find an answer for, because they just don't apply. But, I tried, and the idea for this site was born. I went to a lot of work to only share it with one person, no matter how special that one person is to me.
My purpose is NOT to convert anyone to my way of thinking. One of my primary beliefs is that spirituality is a very individual thing. If you have a belief system that works for you, please remain true to it. Be who you are. At the same time, I demand the right to be who I am, and believe what I choose to, what works for me. In other words, conversion attempts are NOT welcome here. Unfortunately, I doubt that will stop them. Oh, well, I can't say I didn't try…….
