Remy's sweet story~

Hi, my name is Remy and I am a pink and slate polka-dot hairy hairless chinese crested. Besides being a part of the coolest breed in the world, the start of my life was particularly interesting. I was purchased as a puppy 3 years ago from my birth family. My new home was nice. At the time I was only the 2nd dog. Little did I know that my new Mommie had plans to begin breeding big time. She had high hopes for me too. I was shaping up to be a beautiful crested.

One day, mom noticed that I didn't feel too well. So she took me to the vet and it turned out I had Cornovirus and that the vet was sure would kill me very soon. My new Mommie told me I wasn't going anywhere, that I was going to get through that illness and live a happy and healthy life. She loved me so very much, she promised nothing bad would ever happen to me. After close to thousands of dollars in medical procedures, doctor visits, medical care equiptment and medications, and several months, I finally got better and stronger. My Mommie never let me out of her sight, she nurtured and loved me. I never had any puppies, or got my ears taped. I spent my time relaxing, playing and laying in her lap most days.

Over the past 3 years, my Mommie started breeding dogs just like me very well. In no time, there were pups everywhere. I really loved the company. But sometimes, I would get into disagreements with other male dogs. My Mommie told someone over the phone the other day that it is because I am "intact" but I don't have a clue what that means. Then, Mommie came and told me that the lady on the phone would be my new Mommie. She said that the lady on the phone had a wonderful home waiting for me in a place of paradise called San Diego, California. She told me that it had been fate to meet this lady because this new lady had been searching for over a year for the perfect crested... and she chose me.

I've been in my new home for a several weeks now and I love it here. Mommie takes me everywhere with her. I get to see really cool stuff too like sand and this HUGE thing called "the ocean."

Hello,

Thanks for reading my babies touching story.

I purchased him from a very kind and professional breeder. If you're interested in acquiring a Chinese Crested, I would first suggest gathering as much information as possible on caring for the breed. Crested's very sweet and loving dogs, they have a very unique personality. Check out my RESOURCES page for suggested places to get more information on the breed.
