The Death Haunt

Projects and How to's.

Here is the bookshelf made in 2006, Decently difficult, with a great outcome!

A new design for a fog chiller. Look below on how to make it!

These are my main materials, 2 3" PVC trees, One huge bin, Vent tubing (Extendable), Vacuum hose (can be other kind of tubing), some sort of caulking or something to hold the pvc trees in place (Vent tubing puts quite a bit of pressure on the pvc), Reducers (To get that 3 inch tree to a 1.5 diameter to fit the vacuum hose into). For this im using 2 fog machines and sending them in 2 different places

So, after measuring where I want my holes, I used this to cut my 3" diameters. If you dont have this, you can use a jig saw, melting iron, and possibly an exacto (that may take awhile).

So, I have cut both holes now to my likings.. Next its putting the pvc trees in sturdily so they dont fall out.

So next, As you can see I fitted the PVC trees and used some silicone. Silicone wasnt the strongest so I decided to line it with Hot glue and then put that expanding stuff on both ends... THEN PUT MORE HOT GLUE!

So, Here is the finish on the pvc trees, It holds very well, Make sure you dont go too stingy on the glue though. Do this to both ends.

So thats what it looks like so far with both ends on ( the reducers are on one of the ends)

Now, You come to a harder part which is basicly the conclusion. Putting the vent tube inside the box so it fits nicely and its sturdy.

So putting the tubing it was tough (Twas a really tight fit), so I got my dad to push it in as I held the pvc in place (to make sure it didnt rip out)..
You also see a clear view of the reducers and your a ALMOST DONE!

Theres another view, I just put duct tape around the piping to make it stay- it should hold quite well.

Now,  put the vacuum tubing in! (I did not cut it yet because I am still not sure of the dimension and the length needed for our haunted house.)

Sorry there are no pictures of it working, All the fog machines are at my friends house. HAVE A GREAT HALLOWEEN

Now your fog chiller is done!
1. This design was made for 2 fog machines however you can put 1 on it.
2. Run the vacuum piping to 2 different places.
3. Try to keep the box out of sight.
4. Fill it with ice obviously
5. Have a great haunt
