On a bright fall afternoon in the rolling hills of central New Jersey, Managing Partner Ed Malloy declared Caledonia Stables opened for business. We will begin as a small racing stable only, with definite plans to expand into a full fledged racing operation in the near future.
During a walking tour of the stables, Malloy announced the acquisition of his first two runners. The first, a 4yo multiple Grade1 winner Alydear and second a beautiful and promising 2yo filly Double Scoop, who is already two for two in her early races. We will always be looking to acquire additional racers to get our stable up and running.
