For the first gig for my label, I invited 3 bands to play alongside my sons band, SUNDAY 68.

The bands who played were NORTHERN OVERLOAD,RESPONSA and MOST LIKELY TO FAIL.

All bands played excellent sets and I know for a fact that they've won a lot of new fans from this area.

Its taken a lot of organising, but the night went off really well, despite a few punters being targeted by some prick with an air rifle from across the road through one of the lobby windows.

The funny thing was, I asked Corky from N.O. to mention it over the mic, and one of my mates thought it was just a ploy to keep everyone in the room !!!

Anyway, Im getting a lot of positive feedback from it, even at this early stage, and its been an amazing experience from start to finish, so I will almost definately be doing something similar in the future ( not sure when as yet tho )

Well, thanks to all the bands who turned up and to the punters as well. It was good to see another local band, MISPENT YOUTH UK turn up and show their support, cos its time that we got punk back on the map, and if this is what it takes, we'll do it .

Can I also say a big thanks to Andy from N.O. for all of his help with the P.A. problems, cos without him, we would have been up shit creek !!!
