About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I am Caitlin McManus, a senior at Coventry High School. As a graduation requirement, each student has been assigned the task of creating an electronic collection of work throughout the four years, all of which fall under a personal theme of choice. In this way, students are able to set personal goals for themselves and produce a self purpose to engage in.

The goals that I have chosen for this portfolio are education and language. These are very broad subjects, I know, but as of now I am not sure what my career will completely consist around. However, the meaning of education is one that I am passionate about, and language itself never bores me. Education is important, and if done the right way, it can open up a world of possibilities and knowledge that can shape a person into an entire new being. As for language? It, too, opens up a world of possibilities. Whether I am reading aloud words in admiration for the author's diction choice, or starting from scratch in a new tongue, I find language itself wonderful.

My goal is to combine these two themes to create some sort of career that would be perfect for me.

Through my high school career, I have engaged in the activities shown here that established such passions and encouraged my interest to grow.
