We are dedicated to breeding to exemplify the boxer breed. I am very proud of my dogs and am actively involved in showing. Cair Paravel Boxers are commited to producing boxers as close to breed standard as possible.
My boxers are part of my family, home raised with love and lots of socialization. We believe in selectively breeding health tested dogs with the awesome boxer temperament that has made them such a wonderful member of the family. I strive for pups with outstanding temperaments, health, and quality.

Maybe it was because we shared his biscuits and chocolate drops..... I don't know, but we adored each other. I would often sit in my secret hideaway in the garden, with Barney's head in my lap and read to him. Our favorite book was The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis (If you haven't read it, I urge you to indulge).
My grandparents and Barney, taught me so many things..... That life is priviledge, to be cherished and looked after, to be honest and always act with integrity and kindness. To always respect life, and to do everything possible to preserve it. I think I was born with a green thumb and an affinity for animals. If not it surely started then and continues growing day by day.
Recently, I saw the movie based on the book The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe I was so inspired by the reminder of my childhood.... When values and integrity weren't words thrown about, but were actions. I had bandied about the thought of changing our prefix and this seemed like a sign. Boxers have always caught my eye and I have admired them most of my life, but my love for them started in my 20's.
I had the good fortune to work for a wonderful couple, who brought their dogs to work with them. I developed a close bond with their older spaniel x
After two years of hanging with Heidi, I was ready, for my first boxer, I wanted a flashy fawn girl, no brindle's for me ... It took me another year of research and phone calls to find my girl. A flashy brindle.... I know, what happened to the fawn?? I was unable to find one, but there was a brindle girl available (from wonderful healthy, champion lines, with great temperaments, and health tested parents). Doubtful I would like her, I asked to see her anyway... Well the rest is history, "
