On Sunday 27 Jan 08 was the annual Devereaux Kaiser Classic Car Show in Sarasota Florida. This year we went back to the Sarasota Square Mall which has been renamed Westfield Town Center.
After a rainy nite and fog in the early morning the weather was fine for those who got up early to travel to this show. It ended up being perfect weather for walking around and inspecting the more than 1200 vehicles which showed up for this great annual event.
This is a show that should not be missed. Every year one can surely be impressed by the veriety of vehicles on display. From British sports and luxury, Military vehicles, classics from all years. Of course you find your favorite 50s Fords and Chevys to really rare cars from the teens and twenties from makes like Rio, Winton, Franklin and fine Packards. How many of you have seen a Humber Super Snipe before? Our members Cadillacs made a nice display as usual and we enjoyed a nice meal after the show at Longhorn Steak House.
