Have you seen the new CLC Logo?
The logo features a number for each of the Cadillac engine sizes that have been produced over the years. A V6 needed to be added this year and a ribbon was added at the bottom do denote that this is the 50th year of the Cadillac LaSalle Club.
Happy Anniversary CLC!
We have always said the Devereaux-Kaiser Show in Sarasota is one that should not be missed.
This year's show was no exception to that rule. With more than 1200 vehicles on display, there surely was something for everyones taste.

Our General Meeting at Po Folks went well with good food and friendship.

Our members often discuss the finer points of Cadillac after our meetings and events.
Our East Coast event was great visiting Melbourne, Merrit Island and Cocoa Beach
We saw Cadillacs at every turn
Wow did I get off to a great start as the newly elected Activities Director! I just wish I could take more credit for the success of our March event, the East Coast of Florida Road Trip. Our president David Chestnut, who procured for us the perfect host hotel, did the real work. The AACA who gathered together over 500 truly magnificent classic cars for our viewing pleasure, Mike Linthicum, who graciously opened his car collection and home to members, and finally the weatherman, that supplied us with perfect Florida Sunshine. With all this support, my biggest challenge was printing directions to the different sites. Hopefully all the events will be as successful as this one.
It was great to have an event on the other side of the state, and meet members we usually don’t get a chance to see, because of distance. I am sure we will have other road trips around the state, so that we can include more members in our events.
The AACA show was just fantastic, and in my opinion rivaled the AACA “Hershey in the Fall” meet. While not as big a car show, it was no less interesting than Hershey, with many unusual and “one of a kind” cars. As an example, I chatted with a gentleman who is the owner of an early 30's multi-cylinder Cadillac. He came from San Juan Puerto Rico with his car! He explained to me how he had it shipped from San Juan to the show. Now that’s dedication! I didn’t hear if he won the long-distance award or not!
