Rhoswen George and Coedbach Sophistication will be standing at stud in 2008. All covering is carried out in hand. Owners of mares are asked to abide by the terms and conditions for covering, which are as follows:
Mares must arrive at stud with both hind shoes removed and have been wormed in the week prior to arrival.
Mares must have an up-to-date certificate for Equine Flu and Tetanus vaccinations, and hold a certificate from a veterinarian certifying that they are free from Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM) for the current season. The swabs must have been taken from the clitoral sinus and fossa, and from the endometrium in early oestrus.
Mares must be halter trained and lead quietly in hand.
Mares will receive all reasonably possible care, attention and supervision whilst at the stud but no responsibility will be accepted for accident or disease whatsoever or howsoever arising. If it is deemed necessary to call in a veterinarian the mare's owner will be invoiced directly.
All mares are served at the owner's risk and no responsibility will be accepted for injury, damage or loss occasioned through teasing or covering mares.
A Covering Certificate will be issued and it is the responsibility of the owner to arrange for the mare to be scanned at the appropriate time following the final covering.
