Bred for dressage or event, Galtur is by Garuda K (Elite Muenchhausen - Elite Hohenstein - Elite Caprimond) out of BWBS and SHB graded Andes Mouse (SHB graded Andes - Heights of Gold - Shirley Heights). He is a tall, elegant yearling with lovely presence who will mature to approximately 16.1hh to 16.3hh. His sire has no less than 6 Elite stallions in his breeding, and his grandfather is the Premium and Elite stallion, Muenchhausen, who was the reserve World Champion for young horses in 2003, and is now winning at Grand Prix level. Galtur has been sensitively handled and lightly shown, winning with his mother the best mare and foal in Leicestershire, at Leicestershire County Show 2006 and gaining a respectable 3rd place in the 2006 BWBS grading show as a foal.
