As site co-owner of BATracer Liveries and Helmets, Yuri Laszlo explains:
As many of you noticed, the site was taken down a few months ago, when the site that provided hosting services was shut down.
As a result of that, all files uploaded after January 2009 were lost, due to my lack of judgement when considering making a backup file.
Following the closure of the site, Nick Dibley from BATracer Unlimited approached me and invited me to merge the site with the already established Unlimited Portal.
We started working on transferring the files and setting up the gallery just like it was before (with Booth and me), and I'm happy to announce that the site is now back.
As mentioned before, it is now part of the BATracer Unlimited Forum, that started in 2006 as a message board and now encompasses statistics, an arcade section and the gallery itself.
Just like it was before, no registration is required in order to download the files, but you must be logged in to upload files. Users already registered at BU do not have to register.
May I just stress that whilst no registration is required to use the gallery (or even read the forums), the BATracer Unlimited forum is one of the biggest BATracer fan sites currently active, and I'm sure you'll find something of interest if you take a couple of minutes to register.
Differently from the previous version of the site, though, all "pre-gallery" uploads have now their original author credited - where I could trace them down.
