Xena, a mighty warrior and healer, once led a band of outlaws that terrorized all of Greece. She has come to regret the harm she caused.

Thus begins the story of Xena: Warrior Princess. She later teamed up with Gabrielle, who has not only become an invaluable asset to her adventures, but a great friend as well. Xena is the daughter of Cyrene and allegedly Atrius. Some speculate Ares, the God of War is Xena's true father. Xena also had a son, Solan. She gave him to the Centaurs to raise, in the hope that he wouldn't follow in her path. Solon lived to be about 14, when he died at the hands of Hope.  Xena held a grudge against Gabrielle until the moment that they mended their relationship in the land of Illusia. Xena killed Callisto after she saw Gabrielle die while killing Hope. Gabrielle was not dead, but Xena was able to save her from the other world with the help of the Amazons.

Since that point, Xena and Gabrielle have continued their adventures and journeyed to several new lands. At one point they were crucified at the hands of the Romans, but were brought back to life with the help of Eli and "angel" Callisto. After her miraculous recovery, Xena found herself mysteriously with child and gave birth to her daughter, Eve. Callisto's spirit is the lifeforce within Eve and will be the life that Callisto would have had if Xena had not taken away her family in Cirra.

At the end of everything Xena had accomplished, it came down to one terrifying day for fans, Xena had to sacrifice her self for the spirits of people she had wronged years ago.Leaving this world and the people she cared about, to do what she does best, helping mankind for the greater good.

Gabrielle, an inhabitant of Potidaea, is a spirited soul. Even from her first encounters with Xena, she showed a sense of adventure. Gabrielle managed to talk, well pester Xena into letting her tag along for the journey. She had a yearning for something outside the small, simple life of Potidaea. Xena was that key. Innocent and sweet, she had never had to fight with her hands. Instead, she worked out her conflicts with words and her stories. She also had to be Xena's confidant and guide, especially when Xena's dark past would emerge and tempt her back into an evil life. Even with these skills, she managed to learn to fight with a staff that was given to her by the Amazons.

After Gab's first hand look at the evil of killing, she gave up fighting and violence completely and adopted "the way of love" after a trip to India. However, when Xena was to be crucified by the Romans she abandoned her "way of love" and killed seven romans in Xena's defense. Despite this, Both Xena and Gabrielle were crucified. But of course, they returned to life. Since then, Gabrielle has all but abandoned her once "bard" status, and non violent ways. Gabrielle has given up her staff and opted for a new pair of sais.

After all of the battles Gabrielle and Xena has through like the olympians. It came down to one war against an army of 20,000 who defeated xena and killed her which left Gabrielle to carry on the journey without her bestfriend, but Gabrielle has to things to remind her self of Xena and that is her ashes and Xena's trusty Chakram.

So now it is up to the Battling  Bard Of Potidaea to travel Greace and help the helpless.
