Cessna 425 Twin Turbo Prop Project Underway!!!

Well after taking a long break from building the Stearman I have decided to start my dream project, a Cessna 425 Twin Turbo Prop. My plan is to utilize 2 Wren 44 Turboprops for power. I will post build pics as progress continues. Please feel free to drop me a question at buzk15@yahoo.com.

About the Cover

A marvelous sight at this year's Joe Nall Giant Scale Fly-In was formation flying by the father-and-son team of Larry and Buzz Killingsworth. They brought nearly identical 1/3-scale, 118-inch-wingspan Stearman PT-17 biplanes. Both Balsa USA kit-built models were powered by RCS 215 engines with smoke systems, each billowing a different color.
The precision of Buzz and Larry's flying was an echo of hundreds of successful RC sorties performed during this silver-anniversary event, but they didn't make up the only flying team at the gathering. Check out the article on page 29 to learn more about the unusual aircraft pairing.

Welcome to Buzz's Radio Control Model Website. Please browse the links to the left to view my rc projects. The first link covers the Balsa USA 1/3 scale Ercoupe which was started December 10th, 2005 and Maiden flown March 1st, 2006. The second link is a Balsa USA 1/3 scale Stearman started September 2006 and Completed March 1st. The maiden flight occured on May 8th 2007 at my home field of GMA (Georgia Model Aviators). The Stearman's Debut was at the Silver Anniversary Joe Nall 2007 event. There are several other albums including a Jet Turbine Album and a new Helicopter album. Please feel free to send an email if you have any questions related to building, specs, or performance of these model aircraft.
