Latest news :

Ive got a busy September here and I am trying to keep the page updated so no one gets bored. Please bear with me. Come October after the Hamcon I will have a lot more time to work on the pages.

Lets all welcome Don W8WOJ as our new sub for net control. Also mark your calendar as Don will be a young 92 come October 2nd . !

Findlay ! The swap was pretty good but seemed down from last year but that also seems to be the current trend with swaps. The cook out is one of my favorite things and we had a great time . Ted K8SGY brought some spicy sausages and Gene KK4DIY and I brought brats. Spicy and not so spicy. We had tater salad macaroni salad and deserts. I had most of my food when I got home Sunday as I was busy cooking and telling true stories ;) . I did get a couple beers and a couple brats down though. We had 18 people in attendance . A really great group. Looking for ward to next year . I am still considering camping at MIS for the Michigan Hamcon in October . The only problem I see is they charge vehicles for over night parking and I dont know about anyone coming in for a visit . I may have to call and ask .

To all of you that have made a donation to the net I thank you ! We are getting close to registering the real domain name.  I have changed the passwords and logon to the page for editing as per ED WD8V suggested and I have also set up the automatic payment for 2018 to renew the web site in my name and my credit card.

We need a net control for Tuesday nights . This isnt rocket science and anyone can do it :). You can use Net Logger or you can use a pencil and paper . Makes no difference to me but I do need the checkins sent to me to verify possible new members. There is a very good possibility that Gene KK4DIY will be headed to the south about the end of October and we will also need a net control for Mondays until he gets back in March or April.

Keep checking back for new announcements and news.

If you look at the top of the page you will see a button that says DONATIONS .  You can PayPal me your donation for your membership and you can PayPal any additional donations you might want to make. Remember that November of next year we will have to re up the web page and looking at some stuff on Domain Names we could get the michiganbuzzardsroost.net If we get enough donations I will go ahead and get that domain name for the group.  You can also snail mail me at :
