Here are my thoughts on Mariah Carey!
Mariah Carey started her Career in 1990 by a man called Tommy Mottola who discovered her amazing God given talent! Her first album was called Mariah Carey. Once her album came out with her strong Vocals she showed us. Everyone was rushing to stores buying a copy of this Diva's album! The song that got many people hooked was Vision of love. Even Oprah's hair designer! After the success of her first album it was time for the public to have another great album. So the next year she came out with Emotions! Once again this album showed many good vocals and fans cried for more! Mariah Carey was the new thing! Everyone was talking about her! She than came out with an album called called Mtv unplugged! Which were songs of her performing on MTV....songs from the albums Mariah Carey and Emotions. The highest note she hit was at the end of the song Emotions! After that Fans were so crazy they wanted more and more so Mariah came out with the album Music Box the following year! The songs that really helped fans were called Hero and Anytime you need a friend. These songs were uplifting songs and everyone felt what she was saying. Fans wanted more and more so the following year Mariah came out with an album called Merry Christmas! This is the first album of songs from other artists. She wrote some though that weren't from others on this album. The following year she came out with DayDream containing hits like Fantasy! After all this fans were like: "ok what is she gonna bring out next year!" She came out with Butterfly! The album talks about freedom and everyone loved it! Since Mariah made so many albums she decided to bring out a Number 1's cd which included a dvd of these music videos. They had so many number hits including: Hero, Honey, I'll be there and many more. After that Mariah brought out an album called Rainbow! People who were not Mariah fans were like: "why would she call it Rainbow?" She called it Rainbow because the texture in her voice changed and she thought of a rainbow! It's a great title! The Number 1 song from this was Heartbreaker. She made a Heartbreaker remix featuring the voices of Da bratt and Missy Elliot. I loved that song!
People were asking Mariah: You did all that! Wasn't that alot? She was like no, because people would be on their 3rd album by the time she had her Number 1's CD out because they like to take time off but I don't! I'm glad that Mimi didn't take time off because she has made the music world go round and round. Mariah's next cd was based on her movie called Glitter! I don't know why many fans said they didn't like the movie but I did! I thought it was Hot Tamale! Songs that touched me on that album would be Reflections. Since the success of Glitter wasn't good because the time it came out was when the tragedy happened in the US. Mariah agreed to sing on the Telethon. She breathed out Hero. Mariah suffered from a Breakdown because of the hard work she was doing. She checked herself to a hospital. While she was having this "breakdown" she learnt what was going on. People thought that was the end of Mariah but it wasn't! She came back with the album called Greatest hits that was basically like the Number 1's but so much more. Then in the year 2002 she came out with the album Charmbracelet. Some fans(not me) didn't seem to like the album but I tought it was breathtaking! Despite the success of this album Mariah went on a long tour called the Charmbracelet Tour. She went to many places around the world! Then the remixes album featured all of Mariah's greatest remixes!
After that the album that got more and more fans hooked was called The Emancipation of Mimi! This album was Mariah's Career breaking album! The album sold more than 9 million copies and more to this day! This was the album that came out with the most different editions. The album featuring the longest amount of tracks. The total number was 18! Mariah also wrote more for the album but she had to cut some off....The two songs that weren't on many of the different Emancipation of Mimi was called Sprung and Secret love! Mariah had songs that turned into hits such as We belong together, Don't forget about us, Shake it off and many others! Mariah has won several awards from this album from Grammies to soul train and much much more. Mariah has decided to go on a tour from the success of this album called the adventures of Mimi tour! The tour is running in the US and Canada. But she is going to Japan and Tusinia! Although fans from the Uk were disapointed that she didn't set any dates there but she has stated she went for a mini europe tour. I am going to the Toronto one! I'll tell you all about it!
Edit: The concert was amazing!!!! Her voice just blew me away as she always does!!!!!! Excellent show, I am so looking forward to going to my next concert!!!!
