Hello, my name is Lixin, and please do not ask me if I'm a girl or boy, because I've already mentioned it in my basic profile. I was given birth to on 26 January 1993. I was supposed to be born on the 28th, but apparently, my mischievous second brother had caught a lizard and scared my mother with it - and you know what happened next. I am an animal-lover, and as a toddler, I had already began to loathe animal-abusers.
I thought of becoming a zookeeper when I was about 12. I was at the zoo and I realised how fun the monkeys were, and of course, all those other smelly and adorable animals attracted me as well.
I began writing short stories at the age of 7, and I started to write novels when I was 10. When I was 11, I tried to publish one of my novels, but obviously I failed. I am currently working on a new novel called Always Daddy's Little Girl, and I think I'll never get it done by the end of this decade ... I can't stop re-writing Chapter One! EURGHH!
Like many, many other web-owners and designers, I started off with Neopets.com. I was a twit, and I was one of the many who had the whole Neopets userlookup/shops/pet lookups filled up with glittery animations and music. I learnt basic HTML when I was on Neopets, and I started designing on MS Paint, before I learnt to use Photoshop. On my 14th birthday, a schoolmate called Sarah, who is also a webmistress, gave me Photoshop 6.0 and I no longer had to depend on trial versions! Yay!
Many acquaintances/strangers often feel that I was very cold/grumpy Well, first impressions don't mean everything. Yes, I am very good at cold-shouldering people -(especially if I didn't like him/her)- but as we become closer, you'll find that I am actually not that cold/grumpy :D
