Welcome to the official Bury Bowl FC website. We are the team previously known as Westbury Wanderers Reserves FC and im sure alot of you will all remember us from our time in division 3 and 4. For the 2008/2009 season we will once again be playing in Division 3 after we were sensationally promoted following the agm, which is reward for winning the division 4 ko cup, the charity plate and finishing 3rd in the league.

We have alot of the old boys from Westbury Reserves FC and a lot of new squad members all of an age group in their twenties so a few exciting years ahead!!

We are sponsered by Bury Bowl and we thank them for helping to get us started and for supplying the food every sunday but we need more egg sandwiches!!!

We play at the symmonds road pitch which we share with sealey vikings this can be found by going down mount road then taking the second left into the prep school, follow the road round to the car park opposite the health club.

Match Report

Bury Bowl FC 4 Euston FC 0

Bury Bowl were at Ram Meadow for the 2nd time this season and their 3rd visit in a year to defend the St Nicolas Hospice Plate and started the brighter here today. Ross Middleditch went close with a header early on and Mark Gardiner also had a good shot saved by the keeper. Bowl were lucky not to go a goal down though as a Euston ball in to the box nearly ended up going in for an own goal by Ronald Wright. Bowl stepped up a gear and Mark Gardiner flicked a ball right across the face of goal for Rob Sadler to spectacularly volley past keeper and defender for 1-0. Early in the second half Tom Barry had to be at his brilliant best as he saved at point blank range from Euston. Bowl kept the pressure on though and after a superb run from Gary Rolfe and a nice one two with Sadler he found Gardiner who smashed home for 2-0 and his 16th of the season. Rob Sadler soon got his second of the game after unleashing a 30 yard shot the goal keeper could only help it into the back of the net for 3-0. Then as Euston pushed forward in search of a goal Bowl caught them out at the back with Gardiner out pacing the back four and chipping the ball over the keeper for 4-0 and his 17th of the season. Bowl continued to press and were unlucky not to get more after making all three substitutes. So Bury Bowl FC continue their love affair with RamMeadow 3 wins in 3 now.
