History
Welcome to the official Bury Bowl FC website. We are the team previously known as Westbury Wanderers Reserves FC and im sure alot of you will all remember us from our time in division 3 and 4.
For the 2008/2009 season we will once again be playing in Division 3 after we were sensationally promoted following the agm, which is reward for winning the division 4 ko cup, the charity plate and finishing 3rd in the league.
We have alot of the old boys from Westbury Reserves FC and a lot of new squad members all of an age group in their twenties and thirties so a few exciting years ahead!!
We are sponsered by Bury Bowl and we thank them for helping to get us started, buying us two kits, coming to support us in all our cup finals, throwing on some brilliant trophy nights and christmas nights and for supplying the food every sunday. They really are the best sponsers we could ask for and long may we continue!
We play at the symmonds road pitch, this can be found by going down mount road then taking the second left into the prep school, follow the road round to the car park opposite the health club.
Anyone wishing to suggest anything to add to this site or players who are interested in joining Bury Bowl FC just ask clarky the gaffer, my email address is clarkyno7@hotmail.com.

Match Report
Bury Bowl 5 Great Barton 3
A below strength Bury Bowl side started off their last friendly in a subdued fashion, letting Barton attack at will, and should really have been one or two goals down early on but stand in keeper Mike Middleditch saved well. Bowl against the run of play went 1-0 up when Ash Macdonald had a speculative shot at goal which the keeper could only help into his own net. Barton came back though and equalised after a scramble in the box following a corner. Then Barton went 2-1 up with the Bowl keeper being caught by the Barton player in the build up to the goal. This fired the Bowl up for the second half and came out all guns blazing! John Nice made it 2-2 after some good work by Lee Cable on the right wing. Barton then regained the lead after a slip by Stuart Sayer letting them go one on one against Middleditch. Bowl responded well and Ash Macdonald latched onto a superb ball to chip the advancing keeper to make it 3-3. Bowl could then sense the win and Paul Bluett made it 4-3 after some superb play by Middleditch, Cable and Macdonald with Bluett sending it home. Bowl were not done and after some superb play by Jamie Middleditch and Macdonald Ross Middleditch finished the scoring with a well taken header.
